To "bend" a straight lace pattern on Lace 2000: 1. With Snap to Grid ON, draw a length of the straight d pattern. 2. Rotate the design 90 degrees by clicking on Edit, Select All, Functions, Rotate. After rotation, the pattern should be horizontal across the page, with the headside to the top. Make sure that the pattern is positioned on the first vertical row of dots visible on the left-hand side of the screen. If necessary, click on Edit, Select All, then use the item select arrow to drag it across. 3. Turn Snap to Grid OFF. Click on Grid, Change Style, then select Polar, OK. A drop down screen will ask if you want to convert the existing design to match the new grid. Click on OK.
Janice, if you look on page 29 of "Click and Drag...Snap to Grid', the details are there - as are instructions about copying and pasting to make a circle once you've got the pattern on the polar grid, and suggestions about positioning the pattern on the polar grid. I did try the soldering copper tape but always ended up with flux between the glass. The silver tape which I think I bought at Michaels works fine. I wear this pendant and a couple of similar ones in different colors. Can't get any more thin glass though. I have to watch what color clothing I wear so that it contrasts nicely. > > I enjoyed looking at Sue and Diane's black 's Gravenmoer Lacelaces, very classy. Wish it had an easier name though. :-) > Janice > > > Janice Blair > Crystal Lake, 50 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois, USA > > - > To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: > unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
