Segue: I did try a J. Novak collar in linen (heaven knows why - on me ppl might ask what I'm picketing for) - and didn't enjoy working it - now have half a 'piece' with lots of thread ends...I did wonder how I would wear it if I had to step out, and would need the overcoat - but I have a cape I thought would do. A heavy shawl to wear, from car to event might have been ok too.
