I also get lots of comments on the wire lace pieces I have designed and wear.
Most of my friends don't ask if I made it, as they either know I did, or
assume I did. They are getting to know me pretty well.

I have also gotten comments on putting the pieces in the museum or in some
retail shop, though I have never found a museum take me seriously, nor has any
shop offered to sell my single designs either. It seems that you have to know
somebody who knows somebody.

I did sell a wire piece the first day I wore it. By the way, I don't just
wear it for special occasions, I wear it just anytime. I do find as others
have, that the average person has no idea what it is or how it is made, though
they are always impressed.

The art community at Shoreline is starting to take notice of my lace in the
mixed media as well as the wire bobbin laces I have entered. I am hoping to
wow the judges this year with my "Broken Crown" piece.
