Another way to get around this is to have a "lock" on the newsletter. Or place it in a "members only" area. Both of which would require a log-in or password, however you want it set up. Once you pay up your yearly membership, you are given the password. You could change the password each year so one couldn't be a member one year and still have access the next year if they chose not to join.
On a lace note, I just finished up a knitted Shetland lace shawl this last week and have started a black merino lace "Pi" shawl based on Elizabeth Zimmerman's idea. I will try to get a picture of the finished shawl up on a website later this week.
Dona in Asan, Guam where Typhoon Kulap decided to veer east and miss us this past weekend-but only after we had boarded up the houses and sent the ships out to sea.
