It's interesting that Andrea's personal library differs so from my modest collection. The first book I took from the shelf, "101 Torchon Patterns" by Robin Lewis-Wild, lists as her very first definition that "Red lines represent stitches worked in Whole Stitch (cross twist, cross twist)."
