How nice of your son, they can be so sweet!!
It reminds me of my son when I first started bobbin lace. Kevin was taking woodworking at school and I wanted "him" to make me a bobbin. I sent a bobbin with him to look at and he did make me one. I don't think the teacher had any clue what he was making but the result was good. I also wished for a bobbin tree and was lucky there too.
