>Meanwhile, if you haven't already done so, put one of them on a luggage tag >and send to the Lace Guild. There's still six weeks before the due date of >the tags for the lacemakers census. Details are on the Lace Guild webpage.
I second that - I have been helping Deborah Robinson to catalogue the labels for the LG and they have received an amazing assortment of lace, but we still need lots more - the numbers are no way representative of the numbers of lacemakers in the world, so please think about sending a label in. It doesn't have to be a complicated piece of lace - a simple braid design or an early sample, or a little torchon medallion (i.e. a shortened bookmark) - a tatted or needlelace flower, or a bit of knitted lace - anything would be great - just do it! Let the future generations know that YOU were a lacemaker, and proud of it. ttfn Jacqui Jacqui Southworth, Fleetwood, Lancs, England [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] NEW ***Spangled Birth Month Bobbins*** Larkholme Lace - Bobbin Lace Supplies, painted bobbins and tools, books www.larkholmelace.co.uk - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
