When you want to forward a long URL (web address) which is likely to break mid-string, Control C to copy it, as usual, then exit or minimise the website. Bring up the TinyURL website from your Bookmarks/Favourites. In the slot provided for conversion, Control V, to paste in the long string, click on "Make tinyURL!". Wait till Tiny has done its job (it will brag a bit about how well it's done <g>) and shows you the new version. Control C to copy this *new* address. Control V, to paste it into your message...
