Thank you all for taking the time to give me some very good
information. I think I may keep trying the continental bobbins, using a
different pillow and a different cloth underneath the bobbins for
starters. I never thought about the thread breaking because of the
weight of the spangles when using a thinner thread-that makes sense-and
probably is reason enough to figure out my best way of using the new
bobbins. I will probably also try some square ones next time I get
bobbins. Now I have lots of different ideas to try and maybe the excuse
to buy another pillow.
