Adding my two pence.... I personaly have any spangled bobbins. i choose the bobbins after the thickness of thread and not necessairely after the lace-type. My 500 Binche bobbins I use for all the Flemish types and Chantilly. Beside I have, my most expensive ones made from Palisander wood, which are a bit longer but still able for fine thread this I use for Milanese, the other Point ground laces or ever I feel like. the simpler one I bought first are danish, these one I use for Guipre, Plaited laces, Torchon and so on. Then ther are the Honiton bobbins and those I bought for Duchesse. And sometimes when I am short in free bobbins I use those who are still in the box for what ever. The bigger ones for Gold-lace I also use for thick materials. I hope I don't forget something.
Greetings
