Hi All,

I don't know how large the suitcases are that you'll all be carting around,
but I have a travel pillow made by a Norfolk (UK) lacemaker, but similar to
the one sold by SMP Lace in the UK. It folds up into a large brick shape,
and when it is opened out, the apron is larger than most mushroom pillows.
It can come with a roller, a square block, or a round block - I wouldn't
like to try a handkerchief edging on it, but I supppose it could be done if
you were willing to manoeuvre the blocks round a bit.

But - as it folds up to a large brick shape, it is perfect for putting into
a case - mine has been all over this country with me - not on planes,
because I have to be drugged to the eyeballs to travel on a plane - but it
is *very* sturdy indeed, and I love mine to bits. I have had a couple of
rollers, so it has been used a lot, as well as being widely travelled, so I
can recommend them highly!

Carol - in Suffolk UK.

checked.
