how about the Kantcentrum which is on Peperstraat http://www.kantcentrum.com/Engels/algemeen/inleiding/inlfsete.htm and just across the lane from the back of the Kantcentrum is a lovely shop with thread, bobbins, lots of lace and 'stuff'.
