Gentle Spiders-

Greetings from Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Lace Guild! As the IOLI
convention this summer draws nearer, we've realized we have bit off more than
we can chew, so to speak. My superpowers (see sig line) don't include whipping
up 200 handmade pieces of lace. I can shoot laserbeams from my eyes, tho, when
I feel like it.

Anyway, we are trying to get enough lace bookmarks for everyone to have one,
which is about 400. We have 200 so far, and now we're getting nervous that we
won't have enough.

We were just going to make a few to give as door prizes, but then the insidious
School of Complicated Design reared its ugly head, and we hit upon the idea to
make enough bookmarks for everyone to have one! More lace! Lace for everyone!
Unfortunately, most of our members have actually attended the School for
Complicated Design (doilies? Why not make HOUSE COZIES?) and graduated with
distinction, so it's all difficult being us, she whined.

Resultingly, I am asking for help in making bookmarks, if any Arachnids would
like to turn his or her nimble fingers to the task.

The bookmarks need to be all lace, any kind of lace - bobbin, needle, tatting,
etc. They do NOT need to be in any sleeves. We've got tons of the Springett
snake, so we're currently looking for something different. Let your imagination
run wild! White, colored, whatever.

If you would like to help, please make as maaaaaaany book marks as you like.

Be sure to include a note saying who made them, so we can offer appropriate
thanks and promises of adoration unto eternity.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! We love y'all!
