As the mother of a teenager addicted to computer games, one solution might 
be to bring a laptop with wireless capability. Then all he would have to do 
is find a coffee shop, or some other place that offers a wireless 
connection, and he would be all set.

Many hotels offer highspeed internet for a daily fee, something like $10; 
sometimes the connection is free. That might be another way he can get 
connected.

And there is always the internet cafe, for an hourly rate.
