Hi

Our daughter 'lost' her garter just after the ceremony - it ended up in new
hubbies pocket. When she wanted to loan it to one her bridesmaids for her
wedding we solved the problem by removing the top from an old 'stay up' type of
stocking (the type which don't need suspenders) and adding that to lace. We
left the original elastic in as well - just to make sure. As the elastic
material is fluffy it worked well and we didn't have another embarressing
moment.
