Hi Liz! and everyone! wow, that was a nice happening - did you get her name? There aren't a whole lot of us - I shall have to go to the next 'annual luncheon' and ask ok, who here's been in England recently LOL - yes, it is a small world ;)
My story: This annual luncheon has often been held at a hotel not too far from Vancouver Int. Airport and one year a woman and companions staying over to catch a flight happened to see our laces on display (also a sign 'welcome lacemakers' in the lobby!) but they only had a few minutes to spare; they were quite excited, being lacemakers themselves. Out of the corner of my eye I recall seeing them but no time to chat - Jopie, remembering us, connected a few years later when she was visiting V. Island. It was great - her visit coincided with a lace day. Now I am wondering if anyone on this list is from Perth, and might know Jopie?
