Gentle spiders: My DS pointed out to me that the Wikipedia articles on lace could use some expansion. He has helped me create a WikiProject on lace to coordinate efforts to expand Wikipedia's lace articles. I hope many Arachnes will kindly lend their assistance to this project. (Some of you already may have contributed the existing information.) The list of lace types needs expansion and probably corrections, and most types of lace need articles written about them. History information is generally lacking. On the project page, you can see the "To-do" list. You can click the "discussion" tab to join in with suggestions or comments, or just to see what others are suggesting. Wikipedia, if you are as yet unfamiliar with it, is a Web-based, free-content encyclopedia that is written collaboratively by volunteers. It is one of the most popular reference sites on the internet, receiving around 60 million hits per day. To see what it's like, go to wikipedia.org (and check out the lace articles while you're there.) If you'd like to assist with this project, or if you'd just like to see what's going on, please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikiproject_Lace
