Hi Barb, hi everyone, and especially hi Aardvaark groupies

I think the Zarbaughs would like this name ;) Now I'm glad I mentioned
where I got the Natesh thread from! Do y'all remember a blurb that went
with the thread, listed in the catalogue, something about - when you get
your thread, notice the small label, the thread could not be sold without
applying that particular small label to each spool of thread; of the
hundreds of dozens of spools ordered, each had to have its own small
label, not just on the outside of a unit but on each individual spool.
There was no explanation, other threads orders did not have to have this
label so for some unknown reason it was 'special' and we should take
notice of it (notwithstanding the fact that a person had to put on the
little labels, when there was much else to do) - in their wry humour,
Aardvaark pointed out the peculiarities of dealing with gov't agencies,
and importing 'things.' I'm sorry to have rambled - their version was much
shorter and funnier - now I wonder if in my Stuff I still have one of
their newsy catalogues (it would be fun and funny if I did, but I suspect
I discarded it thinking there would be 'a new one' - and there wasn't.
sigh). - I used to buy beads for spangling from them, and still have a
neat little trinket box from China that I splurged on (all of, maybe 1.99)
when I ordered, with some of the beads in.

Thank you Doris for pointing out that you used it instead of a linen - I
shall definitely try to use it, in memory of Aardvaark, and when I find a
pattern I'd like to make in.... rust-coloured rayon!
