DMC and Anchor perle cotton are the same type of thread, but the sizes are not quite the same. In most prickings the difference is insufficient to matter. However the difference was quite noticeable when I used brown perle 5 in one and fawn perle 5 in the other to tat a teddy bear. -- Marriage is a wonderful institution, but who would want to live in an institution.
