The other thing that I forgot to mention is that when I checked DSE users
they are expected to move away from their screen for every 45 minutes of so.
One thing that we don't do when we make lace is flex our muscles regularily -
think about when you are asleep, you move about every so often to stop you
muscles setting - this is the same when you sit and watch tv. Also remember
to
blink - we often don't when we are concentrating. And, even if you are only
sitting making lace - remember to keep you fluids up especially if the room
is air conditioned - this dries you and your skin out even when on cold.

So, what i've always done at lace conventions etc is get up and walk about
every so often - obviously not when someone is teaching. Drink water from a
non spill bottle and when I can take a break I eat something with some salt
and potassium in it - a packet of plain crisps and a banana!
