When Jean was telling us about it, and how demanding it had been to teach,
my
thoughts were that I personally would hate to be a student in a class of
that
sort, where what I was doing would also be part of the "floor show".

Yes, quite. I fully agree. Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn's classes tend to
take one outside one's comfort zone as it is, but observers on top of that
would be awful. Their classes are great and highly to be recommended, but
they do stretch one's abilities and thought patterns
