Arachneans,
I am off on my holiday to France soon and while there
my mother and I are going to go on a short road trip
(just the two of us). When we were talking about what
to do, I suggested a trip to Auvergne with Le Puy as a
goal and she has agreed. I have been doing my
homework on what to see and do (thank you lace fairy!)
but wanted to know if anyone has any words of wisdom
or accounts of travel in that region. I am
particularly looking for suggestions of things to do
and what people thought of the different museums etc.
Oh, and I should probably say that I am bilingual so
language won't be a problem. We will be driving from
Savoie and the trip depends a bit on the weather
cooperating (a forecast of all rain may put us off).
Oh, and we are not going to reserve a hotel until
right before leaving but again, if someone has a
recommendation, feel free to send it along!
Thanks everyone,
Nicole
near Albany NY
("upstate" for those who are curious)
where the hot weather seems to have
finally left (thank goodness!)
