Dear Liz, It is a strange co-incidence that you asked about the OIDFA Bulletin, & then newest issue (#3) arrives in my letter box this morning. There is a mention of Princess Mary & the Royal Danish family's lace.
As Jeri said, the magazine is very dependent on contributions from members all around the world, but definitely biased towards Europe. Personally, I think that it is a good magazine, but as every article has to be published in English & French, there is a little duplication. This issue has 40 pages, not counting the cover pages which are printed with membership fees & who to pay them to, depending on where you live, & a directory of the current Executive Committee. Christine Beswick is the collector for Australian members, so she might be able to tell you of someone who lives near you who can share the Bulletins with you, to help you make the decision about joining. The membership for Australians is currently $58 AUD.
