I don't know whether the Wall Street Journal went into this, but I am fairly certain that such shows require you to pay a booth fee which would undoubtedly be in the hundreds of dollars, if not in the thousands. It would be hard to assemble enough lace art, let alone sell enough, to pay the booth fee. Incidentally, although they are not purveyors of lace art, per se, lace is represented at the Pier Antique Show regularly, in that Molly Carroll, Peggy Zalamea, Paivi Roberts and Maria Niforos frequently do these shows.
