The high bidder was our friend Laurie Waters, which tells me that this book is a significant book historically. Sometimes the older books are still the best, and sometimes they're desirable because they were historically significant. I'm guessing the latter in this case. (I sure would like to see Laurie's library!! And Jeri Ames' as well!! Those must be two AMAZING collections!!)
