Dearest Spiders, While I was digging in my thread stash to wind bobbins for the Christmas/Holiday Card thing, I came across a spool that I've lost the label. Aside from picking it apart under a microscope (2 threads or 3), would the "winds on a pencil" be a good way for me to figure out what size it is, approximately? There's a lot of thread on the spool, looks moderately fine, but I've avoided using it since I'm not sure the size.
