The tubing version that I have is probably not easily pinned, as it's pretty dense material. However, I don't find any reason to pin mine. The threads running over it hold it in place well enough, even when traveling. And it has to move often enough (while making lace) that pinning slows things down. Just my personal opinion. Robin P.
