Lace is a major part of my life. Unfortunately, politics *is* life,
impinging on all aspects of day-to-day slogging - including lace.
So, yes, it *is* about lace - among other things - if one's
realistic. Pretending that nasty underbelly doesn't exist may be
cute in Polyanna books but, when practiced by the ruling
administration (and its acolytes), is disastrous to the health of
the nation and all its people. Including me. And including my
lacemaking.
In Poland, we say: "hit the table, and the scissors will answer".
In English, you say: "a guilty man flees when no-one pursues". If
the ultra-conservatives are not in the wrong in their thinking,
then why are you so bothered every time their/your point of view is
challenged?
