Poole has always been Dorset. Bournemouth, which is next door to (east of Poole) used to be in Hampshire, but is now in Dorset, much to a lot of people's disgust. So I'm not sure if Christchurch, which is next to Bournemouth (east of it) is still in Hampshire or if it 'moved' west with Bournemouth into Dorset.
