No. Barbara already has it. Now we just have to wait
until the webpage is ready for us all to look at them.
Since Barbara has been adding scans/photos to the website as they came
to her, the _website_ is ready (pics can be added to it, if they come
in late); all she needs is permission to launch it, I think :)
Preferably a few days before Christmas, before most of us sink into the
vortex of "Christmas doings" so deeply, that we don't have the time to
look at the site... Judging by descriptions in the posted "receipts",
this year is going to be _a lot_ of "eye-candy"; much more than we had
last year, and it'll need to be savoured, not gobbled up.
Thanks Barbara, for offering the web-gallery space again this year. I
didn't participate last year -- didn't have the time -- but enjoyed
looking at the cards of those who did take part, and was determined to
take part ths year, if opportunity offered.
As most of you know, I'm an atheist, and Christmas as such doesn't mean
much to me. But, while it's nice to share and give all year round, it's
even nicer to have the end-corner of a year devoted to the idea; makes
it easier to hope for a better, brighter, _future_... And to spin the
sharing web accross the globe makes it nicest of all :)
Thanks also go to Bev, who organized the event and did all the
"pairing" (triangulation, actually <g>). Hopefully, after most
Arachneans had a peek at Barbara's site, like me, they'll too be
inspired to participate next year, and we'll have even more eye candy
to feast on.
So here's to B&B and to us all: thanks, and best wishes for a better
New Year
Yours, in semi-frozen Virginia, gearing up for "secular Christmas"
