Dear Lacefriends,
Just back from the antique market we had today in Wandsbek, a part from
Hamburg. Guess what I found there. Yes, such a probably Chinese
needle-lace mat. It is 42 cm/ nearly 17 inch. diameter. It has a cetral
rose motiv and around the same a bit smaller and another motiv. I
couldn't make a foto of the whole thing because my red and blue paper
weren't big enough and the sun has gone meanwhile. I do so the next day
and send it too. For the moment you can see on:

There was today no possibility to ad some remarks so I'll explain the
pictures here.
Nr. 1 is the centre motiv
Nr 2 which has the origin jpg nr. is the centre enlarged
Nr. 3 is a motiv from the outer side
Nr. 4 is the same but from behind, the reverse side
Nr. 5 reverse side more from the rose.
