Both of these we did the easy way: use a long, thick thread (or
double). Anchor at one end and "finger crochet" (chain) to the other
end. Once you have the right length, put the needle thrrough the last
loop, so the chain won't run back, anchor. Very quick, but quite
strong.
Yours, delirious with joy at the restoration of her DSL; have been
without since Friday night when the high winds knocked out the power.
The powr came back pretty quickly, but not the connection. And the
provider was closed for the weekent... There are advantages and
disadvantages to having a small-time, small-town provider (but I still
love them best <g>)
