Hallo. your mail brought memories back. I made a girl pushing a pram with coloured threads and was very proud of my achievements. I took it to a Laceday here in England, proudly placed it against the wall for any passer-by to see and hopefully say that it is nice. What a Hope! Two ladies passed by and one said that was not lace. I was upset and challenged her to say why it was not. Her answer was, it is in colour. Needless to say that most of my laces are in colour.
