Dear Friends: I would imagine this would be a wonderful and fun thing to do. I have often thought this could be set up. In fact, it might be nice to include others, such as embroiderers, piecers, etc. Our lacemaking numbers are few, and pretty spread out. I miss going to CT to Barb McGuire's house. When I was little (about 50 years ago), we lived in a rural area. My mother had a group of women that formed a club and they rotated houses each month. Every time my mother hosted, she made applesauce cake. I got to fill the sugar bowl and little green cream pitcher. We were pretty much asleep by the time they rolled in, but I do remember one woman who brought her accordian -- didn't sleep through that! Linda Sheff
