Beautiful. This reminds me of a message to Arachne some time ago, about a lacemaker with all her bobbins made of glass. Wouldn't that be a delicate sound! (an aside: I have some honitons made of glass and they are a joy to use, but I only use them when I can have the pillow on a large flat surface, not that the bobbins would break, but they might spear my foot in the falling). I would think in a group of people who make a lot of laces by the mile, after awhile you would have a good idea from the sound the bobbins make as the pattern is repeated which they might be working on. -- bye for now Bev in Sooke BC (on Vancouver Island, west coast of Canada) Cdn. floral bobbins www.woodhavenbobbins.com - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
