Hi Tamara and Spiders, I am all in favour of the 'Arachne International Lace-In'- but am so confused with Time Zones that I'll let someone tell me when the UK is supposed to start, and I will do as I am told!
However, Easter to me - and I am sure to a lot more Arachnes! - is the biggest church festival of the year, and to have our 'Lace-In' over Easter would preclude many of us from joining in! What with Confession, Mass, families etc., how on earth would we be able to absent ourselves even to switch on the computer, let alone answer messages and/or make lace! So please - could we have it on a different day to Easter Saturday/Sunday? The suggestion of St Catherine's Day - or even the nearest Saturday/Sunday - would be fine for the half-yearly event ...
