Ah yes! I saw that in the grocery store too, but didn't stop. I think I
can say, without fear of contradiction from this group, that this lace is
of the genre, "trash". Certainly the dress is that genre - it doesn't even
look good on a high-priced model! I have concerns about her agent pushing
the poor waif into yet another starvation diet to rid herself of those
"rolls of flesh" that appeared at her waist when the photographer had her
pose with her posterior stuck out like that... That flesh is not fat -
it's her body, contorted!!

I can't believe that I'm being so critical of "fashion" now - after years
and years of defending my generation's choices!! Of course, the fact is
that my Mom thought short skirts and pierced ears were a sure sign that we
girls were going to hell in a handbasket! A few years ago, even
ten-year-old girls wanted to dress like Britteny Spears - and that put me
over the edge!! Thankfully, her star reached its zenith a while back, but
unfortunately, the girls have a bevy of "rich and famous" anorexics to
show them how to dress.

I think we need to zero in on a talented, and VERY classy young woman to
champion the cause of exquisite gowns with exquisite lace that flatters the
person who is wearing it (instead of the other way around!) Of course,
that means either reaching the designers, or the young woman directly!!
