Not a problem Avital and thank you for the information. Yes I have seen
friendships lost in this way but obviously the lace related information is
just fascinating to read. I am a bit slow adjusting to the different type
of style, that is all but now I understand I have fine.

Liz the list owner set up the list so that "Reply" alone sends to the
individual. If you want to send to the list as well, use "Reply All". The
reason
she did this is because too many private e-mails were ending up on the
list.
Believe me, it is embarrassing if you think you're writing a private note
to
your best friend and it appears on the list for 300+ people to see (not to
mention being stored permanently in the archives). She felt that the
inconvenience of having e-mails go by accident to an individual was
outweighed
by the advantage of eliminating personal e-mails to the list.

I am sorry to have to do this but I am not sure that my email is making
it
through to the group. When I reply to mail it seems to go to an
individual
not the group.
