Dear Irene:

I also took a course from Gunvor several years ago (Toender lace). For me,
it was a turning point and I got a lot from the class. Gunvor did start with
basics, and the class, all in varying levels, was handled effortlessly.
Gunvor seemed to be able to identify those areas where hesitations occur and
guide you into solving the problems untuitively. For me it was a wonderful
class and helped me to build confidence in my abilities. Gunvor also kept
appropriate time limits with different students, so you didn't have to wait
2-3
hours for her to get to your problem as has happened to me with a different
teacher.

At that time, I had also made a conscious decision to focus on just Torchon,
Rosaline and Toender laces. I had been going into too many directions and
confusing techniques, style issues, etc. In short: going and growing nowhere.

Enjoy your course with Gunvor! I would take another class with her if the
opportunity presented.
