Greetings again, I thought I should write a followup of my Tonder book problem. First, a kind list member who had an extra book is selling it to me, so I will soon have one.
If a person can't buy a book, suggestions came in for borrowing one from a person's local guild, their national guild, or the local library interlibrary loan. If time is not urgent, a request can be filed with the various book sellers on line, such as Amazon, Abebooks, Alibris, etc. When a book becomes available, you would be notified. If the price is reasonable, you can buy it. If not, keep your request open. Also, a person can check on eBay weekly to see if a new offer has come up. Purchases are made in a reasonable price range periodically. So, thank you for all the comments, suggestions and offers. I shall be ready for my Tonder class when the time comes.
