Hi All,
I am about to take Edging 27 from "Lace for Church Use" off the pillow and
mount it on fabric for my local church at Easter. It is about 70" long.
The pillow is a custom made square one which my friend's husband made a base
for when I did Eeva-Lisa's Cricifixion a couple of years ago. Took Pat
Milne (attended a couple of her workshops)'s advice and made multiple blocks
- a square (23" x 23") single one, and thirds - one piece on the outside and
blocks in the centre for moving up lace. Well worth the effort, and because
I did it all at the beginning it is actually done.
I am going to start another Eeva-Lisaa picture when it comes off - The
Guardian Angel.
I have another piece of torchon on a roller pillow and will need 5m + to
make a Christening Dress. It will probably get finished for a grandchild.
My first grandchild is being Baptised next weekend in Windsor Ontario and
will be wearing the outfit I made for her mother 32 years ago!
