Hello Dorte
I also have Skype and have only used it so far to talk free to my sister who
lives in Scotland. I believe it works best if you have Broadband connection
to the Internet (as we both have). I would be interested in talking to
other lacemakers if a meeting is arranged. The only problem as in the
virtual meeting is the time diference between us in Europe rest of the
world. My Skype name is "lacemaker" if anyone wants to invite me to chat to
them. I have downloaded the BETA version so should be able to see you on
the webcam, though I have not tried that yet on Skype.

about the meeting on the net, I have downloaded skype www.skype.com, there
you can phone on the net for free, my son inlaw is at the moment in
Singapore for 8 week in all, working, so I downloaded skype, bought a
headset, a microphone will do, and as long you are on the net you can call
other that has skype, you can allso "meet" in groups, so one can lace at
the same time as talking to other, and if you have a webcam you can allso
see the person, and the lace they are doing + sending pictures at the same
time. Could that be an idear for another meeting, skype is free to
download
