Hi Agnes,

you are right! It is a stylistic error, usually it is rather funny. There are
collections of
"Stilblüten" eg. taken from pupils essays.
I am not sure, what it has to do with lace.

Greetings from sunny Germany

Hi all,
I stand by my earlier explanation: "stylistic blunder" or "howler". I
just accidentally types Still with two l's. My biggest ever german
dictionary gives me this translation as does the online
leo-dictionary. Although I still don't know what it has to do with
lace! Agnes Boddington Bobbin maker -Will ship worldwide
