This sounds like a terrific way to make lace! What might it cost per
person, I wonder?

Brings to mind the really 'local' cruises - those of us who would take
the ferry between the mainland and Vancouver Island, for instance to
attend a lace event, often work at our pillows, at one of the tables
in the lounge or cafeteria. The hour or so lace time is really
pleasant and usually we have onlookers.
The Port Angeles-Victoria ferry, though, goes through rougher waters,
maybe not on that route.
I've often thought the circle route around the little islands would
use up a day lacing pleasantly, if the lounge was suitable on the
smaller vessels (IIRC they are quite spartan, but with ample
daylight).

A couple of us had an idea of taking the train to Portland, for the
upcoming lace event there, and make lace on the train all the way,
except the train schedule didn't suit us <g>.

Possibly we could do a rolling lace day across the continent, by train.

It's a great idea Dianna ;)

Has anyone mentioned the fabulous cruise to Mexico, with the Hedgehog
Lacemakers the 28th of April through the 1st of May?

I also am thinking it might make a great option for local coastal guilds to
do something a little different for their Lace Day events. Give it a thought!
