Sue, you'll see that I've already explained to Clay that the patches on
Ian's web site are to bring the very first versions of Lace 2000 sold
(Version 1.4) up to the current version being sold (Version 1.4 rev 2).

The *only* people who need to instal these patches are those who's original
copy of the programme came on a CD, and a disc. You can check if you're
still running the basic Version 1.4 by click on "Help" in the programme, and
then clicking on "About Lace Designer". You'll get a greeny coloured
screen, which will have in big letters on it: Version 1.4. However, in
the bottom left-hand corner of that same screen, in small black type, it may
say "Revision 2 - build date November 8, 2001") or something similar.

If it says "Revision xxxx" you don't need the patches on Ian's website.

If you need help, may I suggest that, rather than filling up the entire list
with messages about this, you contact me privately.

Ruth Budge

These are NOT NEW patches which Ian has put on his site. Which patches they
actually are, and for which version of Lace 2000, I am waiting to see.
