To me (admittedly not a bobbin lacemaker!) it seems *possible* the Beaver
could be using bobbins -- we are looking at the pillow across the table
from it, so there could be hidden bobbins dangling over there on the
Beaver's side of the table.

But yes, I do see that spool of thread in its hand, and it does look like
the Beaver must be leaning against my hypothetical bobbins!
