Dear Lacemakers, While visiting Chios on the post Congress tour, I also discovered that a further book has been published called Embroidery in Chios. It is a sequel to the first book, same publisher and of similar quality and size but with a focus on the lovely Greek embroidery. As with the lace, there is a wonderful variety of embroidery produced on the island.
Furthermore: Greek Lace in the Victoria & Albert Museum has wonderful close up photographs of all the V and A Greek Lace which was loaned to the Benaki Museum for the OIDFA Congress.
