As I have had a couple of inquiries, here is more information on the Michigan Fiber Festival. http://www.michiganfiberfestival.org/
It is held every year at the Allegan County Fairgrounds in Allegan, Michigan, USA, in August. There are workshops during the week before the festival, then lots of vendors and demonstrations on the weekend. This year it will be 19 and 20 August. The festival's big focus is natural fibers and fiber animals, so there are barns full of goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, and one year I even saw a musk-ox there! There is usually a little "lace stuff", but I admit it can be hard to find amidst all the yarn (lots and lots of yarn, and then some more yarn), spinning wheels, looms, books, dyes, and fiber tools of all kinds.
