Ladies, what a wealth of lovely ideas, I just knew you wouldn't let me down.
Thank you very much. I really enjoyed the stories that went with it, it
gives us all another window on the world and lacemakers.
You have given my husband the spurr to print off some designs and also for
us both to recognise the need for 2 different ones. We will probably have a
clamp on one in our small home for indoor use only and a wooden one which
will need to have 3 legs only so that it will sit on the uneven ground of
the fields when we are at camp with the tent as we have been last week.

I have a snare drum stand. It works well with my
smaller pillows -- up to 18 inches. It is very light
weight and the legs have limited spread. My 20 inch
pillow will perch on it but I have to be careful not
to bump it. It will be top heavy.
My stand folds up to a quite small size but since it's
metal, it does have weight to it. I don't like to
carry it very far.
