The Lace List is fairly quiet right now, so I thought I'd pose a question. I just saw a batch of plastic continental bobbins on eBay. (You can find them by searching 'plastic lace bobbins'.) They are Belgium in style.
I have used plastic Midlands with spangles to give them weight. I've never seen plastic continentals before. They must be lighter weight than wood, and that surely affects the tension. Has anyone experienced plastic continentals? How do they work on a pillow? Alice in Oregon -- where I attached the first few pairs back to the starting edge of the wedding edging. - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
